Table Bracket for silent enclosure
thingiverse
This is a remix of RuiJC and Thingirob bracket. I assemble a silent printer enclosure mounted on an IKEA Lack table. By attaching the printer directly to the Lack table, noise amplification occurs because the hollow table acts as a resonator, much like a guitar. To mitigate this issue, I employ a rubber pad glued to the table. Then, the brackets are securely attached to the rubber pad. For optimal results, I utilize interlocking rubber mats, similar to those found at https://www.amazon.com/Terra-Flex-Interlocking-Rubber-Flooring-4x24x24/dp/B0035N2D4K. I cut the rubber into pieces matching the bracket size for a seamless fit. Alternatively, a single rectangular piece can be used to cover the entire printer area. Left bracket updated once more. Testing is underway.
