Taasen Board Game
thingiverse
The Game of Tryslmaistan Chess by Jennifer Diane Reitz. This web-published game serves as an analogue to traditional Chess, with a unique twist. Played on a triangular board composed of interlocking triangles, each player has control over three distinct pieces. In addition, a set of three white pieces is available for use by either player during their turn. With this flexibility in mind, the objective of the game shifts slightly: instead of capturing opponent's pieces, players aim to remove or immobilize them from the board. A key difference between Tryslmaistan Chess and its classic counterpart lies in how pieces interact with one another. Unlike traditional Chess, where captured pieces are removed from play, Tryslmaistan Chess features a pushing mechanism, allowing players to nudge their opponent's (and white) pieces into adjacent free spaces. If no such space exists, the pushed piece is immediately removed from the board.
