The original design of the T8SG RC transmitter's battery cover can be unreliable, prone to being lost or worn out over time. To address this issue, I created a spare cover that provides a more secure fit than the standard one. In addition, I decided to craft an insert for the battery compartment, as the exposed electronics could potentially short circuit due to contact with the USB cable when it's inserted. It's worth noting that there are two versions of this transmitter, and my specific model has the USB port accessible through the battery compartment, while the other version requires removal of the rear cover. The insert turned out to be a good fit and only needs a bit of manipulation to install properly. I'm also considering designing a battery cover with a cut-out for the USB cable, which would come in handy when using the transmitter for RC simulation.
