Edit - 2017 Please note the file still slices beautifully with Cura. Some of you fellow enthusiasts have experienced difficulties in Simplify3D - please try using Cura to achieve remarkable results. Thank you all for sharing your outstanding prints! Edit - Dec 2015 Thank azurial for pointing out that we incorrectly named it exoskull when it's an endoskull. Honestly, it's somewhat astonishing that we overlooked the omission of the brain as such... Thank you for your kind comment; truly appreciated. EDIT - July 2017 We also uploaded a Terminator Genisys model: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1432964 EDIT - Nov 2016 It's finally here: the sleek, rapid to print, no-supports-required T800 model! Download version 7.3.1! ====================== After numerous hours of thorough clean-up and adjustment work, this is a fairly definitive T800 model that will scale exceptionally well – it prints magnificently at 40% scale, 60% scale or 100%scale. It will slice seamlessly with Slic3r, Cura, Simply3D, KISSlicer, etc - every slicer we threw at it did an exceptional job. All the intricate overhangs are skillfully handled (such as eye sockets, cheek bones, nose, side "robot" details, actuators have been significantly beefed up, cheek actuators were revised for higher quality/cleaner printing.) Print it swiftly, print it compactly, print it large, this is a fantastic model. A big thanks to all who worked tirelessly on this model before it landed in our hands - Geoffro, ToScH, MUCKYCHRIS, and especially Landru. It's astounding how many pairs of skilled hands this model has passed through to get here. Thanks to you all and enjoy! Use version 7.3.1! Original Upload The T800 model makes an outstanding addition to your workspace, but it demanded a suitable base. Therefore, our brilliant Chris set out to simplify the printing process and add a base befitting such an iconic model. There were several issues with the previous design - the jaw would dislodge from the printbed when printed at high quality, so we cleverly integrated removable supports into the new model. Furthermore, there wasn't ample surface area to touch the bed for such a massive model. It's certainly not an inexpensive project, but it captures lots of attention and is an exceptional conversation piece. All models were meticulously printed on Machina Corp X28 and Z100 3D Printers, with Natureworks filament from Ultimachine and ColorFabb. Enjoy.
