I acquired a T8 CNC from Gearbest several months ago, and the Z-axis play was atrocious. I designed and constructed a straightforward IGUS RJZM-1-8 Drylin bearing holder to rectify this issue. It has effectively eliminated all z-axis slop on my T8 CNC machine. The original M3 plate spacers proved to be inadequate, so I replaced them with M4 x 25mm spacers. I also installed a motor cooling vent, sourced from Thingiverse, along with several other components and a separate deck to house the power supplies and associated peripherals!
