Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVOsZeIiORY This setup replaces traditional aquarium TL lighting with LED strip lighting. I chose RGB LED strips that are 5M long to achieve this. My previous 108Watt setup was replaced by a 44Watt one, which is less than half the power consumption of my old setup. However, it produces the same or even more light. To align the strips perfectly while placing them, I used a LED strip comb. It also helps keep the strips from peeling off. The reinforcer keeps the two aluminium profiles together. The cable holder holds the cable in place so you can power the LED strip from both sides. This is highly recommended; see the picture on the left side powered from both ends, and on the right side powered from one end. Most importantly, the Profile Holder holds the aluminium profiles and converts them to a T5 socket. To build two lamps, I used two 2m 30x15x2mm aluminium profiles, two rolls of 5M RGB LED strips, two printed reinforcers, four printed profile holders, eight printed cable holders and ten combs. Please post a remix if you redesigned it. And please post a picture of your print; it'll make me happy!
