T4 Quadcopter Arm with ESC cutout
thingiverse
I upgraded the T4 Quadcopter arm with a cutout for a high-powered ESC, specifically a DJI 30AMP model, and added holes for zip ties to secure it in place. The updated design also features a motor mount optimized for pancake motors, with room to recess the mount into the arm slightly and space for a LED on the motor side. I'm currently testing my Rctimer 5010-620KV motors on this modified arm. For more information and to tinker with the design yourself, check out TinkerCAD: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/eeyW3mPFbS7 **Printing Details** This model was printed using ABS with a .2mm layer thickness, 25% infill, and supports generated by Davinci 1.0A. Print settings include: * Bed temperature: 105 * Extruder temperature: 230 Keep in mind that I experienced some shrinkage due to printing with ABS, requiring the model to be scaled down to 97.3% to fit properly. If you plan on using a similar body, I recommend testing a printed segment before committing to the full print.
