The human body is made up of many different systems that work together to keep us alive and functioning properly. One of these systems is the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Its main function is to defend us against infection and disease by producing antibodies that can recognize and destroy foreign substances such as bacteria and viruses. The immune system works closely with other systems in the body to keep us healthy. The skeletal system provides support and structure for the body, while the muscular system allows us to move and perform various physical activities.
