This apparatus is ideal for solvent welding plastic T-Slot < http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10261 > together, ensuring straight and usable lengths of arbitrary size. The jig enables you to account for warped beams. For T-Slot printed in ABS, follow the process below; PLA requires an alternative bonding agent besides ABS Glue < http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:14490 >. Gather your materials and print enough Welding Jig STL to avoid beam deflection. Ensure beams fit flat in the channel, clip off blobs and sand any flanges. Apply ABS Glue to the ends of the beams, place them in the jig, and press together while constrained against the sides. Let the beams set for a few minutes until fully bonded; misalignment can be compensated by fusing multiple beams along the channel's length.
