T-slot sleeve for drop-in trapezoidal nuts
prusaprinters
I have this odd server rack that uses a 12mm rectangular T-Slot with specialized spring nuts which have been impossible to find. I noticed a 2020 aluminum extrusion drop-in nut just happens to fit, but they are missing the spring, that means you can't fix them in-place (first they drop vertically 2nd they don't sit straight so the screw can grab). So I designed this sleeve to work as an anti-slip guard but also as a nut guide: press forward so it sits flush. It's designed to be printed out of TPU so it's squishy and you can drop-in the sleeve then drop-in the nut, anywhere in the T-Slot. The STL is designed specifically for - Nut: 2020 (M5) - 10mm wide- T-Slot channel: 12mm wide x 8mm deep (6mm opening). The design is parametric and the OpenSCAD script is included, you can modify it to fit other nuts/channel combinations.
