T-Slot Nut - M6 // Profile 8

Here's a simple yet robust design for an aluminium extrusion T-slot nut with a profile of 40x40 mm, suitable for my massive delta 3D printer. To begin, print the part without any support material - its internal structure takes care of it. This is a square M6 DIN 562 nut (low-profile) designed for excellent performance. The infill percentage can be adjusted to achieve desired strength properties; I've had success with 50% at 0.3mm resolution, using black PLA as the material of choice. Be cautious when removing supports - it's not an easy task - and make sure you're wearing protective gear to avoid any damage. Use pliers to hold the part securely while removing the supports, taking your time and applying steady pressure. When inserting the nut into its holder, apply a gentle but firm force using a standard clamp - don't overtighten it. Best regards!
