T-slot Jig
thingiverse
A Work-in-Progress jig insert designed for T-slot tracks is underway, based on measurements from 1010 but appears scalable to 2020 as well. The design should be nearly complete and requires assembly with various small bolts or screws along with washers. A T-slot nut is not included, but similar variants can be found elsewhere on Thingiverse. Note that the thumbwheel is intended to hold a nut, while the anchor going into the T-slot should be a small bolt or equivalent fastener facing outwards. This design remains in WIP status as it may require further adjustments. Feedback from comments is appreciated and will be used to improve this design. This project was inspired by Thing 2709797, but uses a different rail setup. The intention here is to utilize a commonly available off-the-shelf railing and provide adjustability. The original base model remains intact for potential remixing purposes, without the extended support features attached. A hinge for mounting T-slot rails end-to-end can be found at Thing 2718564, likely useful when paired with this jig insert.
