T-Slot HexNut Holder
thingiverse
To prevent hex nuts from falling out of my Thing-o-Matic's t-slots, I designed a holder that secures M3 nuts while allowing easy removal. The base also distributes force to protect the wood. The OpenSCAD model offers adjustable parameters for customization. Due to small size and tight tolerances, printing can be tricky. Print with 100% infill, preferably in ABS with a thickness of 0.2mm and width/thickness of 2. To use the holder, insert an M3 hex nut parallel to the long sides, then place it in a t-slot with the bottom contacting both nut and screw. Finally, tighten the screw.
