I made a modified version of this thing, 604530. I added bulk to it and trimmed it down, perfect for a spool weighing about 1kg. Some minor adjustments on top reduced friction nicely. To secure my prints, I'm pairing it with the M3D 8020 mounts and braces, available at this link.
