I finally found what I needed to ensure proper filament guidance from my spool holder, so I made this. It works great with my MakerFarm and I'm confident it would work equally well for any other 20mm standard extrusions using T-slot nuts and 12mm M5 screws. I discovered that the PLA can make a really annoying rubbing sound when feeding through this setup, so I applied a piece of cloth medical tape to the beveled guide rod and now it's completely silent.
