T-Rex Skeleton with fixed files
thingiverse
I absolutely adore this model from MakerBot. Thank you, MakerBot, for sharing it and I'm hopeful to see more in the future. I highly appreciated the combined baseplate from icefox1983 that I used for my print and also added to the files. In my experience, well-defined STL-files produce better print results. So I took the time to straighten up all the files and saved them exactly as I was going to print them. My model in the pictures isn't post-processed; it just had Brim removed. A word on printing: I used a Brim (12 lines, 2 layer) with TRex_Arms, TRex_Ribs_Left, TRex_Ribs_Right, TRex_Scapulas, TRex_Feet, TRex_Femur_Tibia, and additional support for TRex_Jaw, TRex_Neck, and more. I used defined support from the builtplate: TRex_Jaw, TRex_Neck, TRex_Skull.
