This is a custom-built shelf designed specifically for Makerbot's iconic T-Rex skeleton, complete with a cleverly concealed hiding spot. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:275091 I created this shelf as a birthday gift for my son, but he soon realized that his room lacked the perfect display space. To address this issue, I designed a wall-mounted shelf that would showcase the T-Rex skeleton in all its glory. My wife suggested incorporating a floating design element, which I incorporated into the project. By hollowing out the mounting bracket, I created a secure hiding spot for valuables or personal treasures. The design includes an optional version without the "T-Rex" label on the front panel, allowing users to customize their shelf according to their preferences. To ensure smooth printing, I oriented the design in a way that eliminates the need for supports.
