I came across an asset that I created, inspired by a concept art piece by Nick Carver on ArtStation. The moment I saw it, the artwork sparked a nostalgic memory of the classic Metal Slug games from my childhood. Given their retro charm, I knew I had to bring this asset to life. While I'm satisfied with the result, I may revisit and add hand-drawn textures that more accurately capture the essence of the iconic Metal Slug style.
