Simple Tee to Join Three Pipes Effortlessly This versatile T-piece makes it easy to connect three pipes together seamlessly. Ideal for flexible piping materials such as silicone or PVC with an internal diameter of approximately 4-7mm, this design can be scaled up to accommodate other sizes but keep in mind that the wall thickness becomes quite thin when made smaller. Currently, the minimum wall thickness is a reliable 1mm. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Up! Printer: Up Plus2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 100% Notes: When printing, aim for a minimum wall thickness of 1mm. If possible, print the T-piece at an angle to the bed, with two outputs pointing downwards and the third upwards as shown in one of the images. This approach minimizes support material usage while ensuring the inner surface remains smooth. Post-Printing Testing: Conduct thorough testing on a trial print for air tightness by installing the fitting with a gas supply and blocking off the outlet. Apply liquid soap to the outside or submerge the part under water. If bubbles appear, the print is likely porous. Adjust print settings (e.g., hotter extrusion) or apply an acetone or lacquer treatment to improve results. Ensure any treatments are fully dry before retesting or using the part.
