T-Nuts for 4040 Aluminum Extrusion
thingiverse
I couldn't find the right T-nuts for my Monoprice Maker Pro at my local hardware store, so I looked online. On this website, I found some other sized T-nuts that wouldn't work with my printer, but I made a version that does fit. My custom T-nuts will work with all 4040 aluminum V-channel extrusions. Currently, they come in M4 and M5 sizes, but if there's enough interest, I can add an M3 size. To use them, simply print out the design and attach it to your printer or any other device using a standard M4 or M5 screw and nut. They're easy to understand, so just follow the instructions and you'll be able to secure whatever you need. Updates: I've added an M3 size T-Nut on 3/26.
