If you've ever owned a fiberglass cab on a truck or garage door, chances are that those T-handles may lock... but only for about two or three months. Especially in winter, sand, dust, snow, and ice can quickly get inside and jam the mechanism. To prevent this from happening, I designed a protective cover that clips over the handle to make it nearly waterproof. When you need to lock or unlock the door, removing the protector is a breeze. After printing one out, you might have to use a knife to adjust the clips so they're not too difficult to put on or take off. I printed mine using ABS plastic, filling it 100% with rectilinear material and support structures. I also gave it an acetone vapor treatment to improve its quality. If I had some Ninjaflex on hand, I would have liked to try printing the cover with that flexible material instead.
