<h3><strong>T.Flight rudder pedals wider/extender mod.</strong></h3> <p><strong>Made from scratch but heavily inspired by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4287043">tbonge wider mod</a></strong></p> <p>This mod widens the pedal <strong>while also</strong> extending the rails, thus adding a larger range of motion, increasing accuracy and decreasing effect of any small jerky motions. Pedals are wider by 12cm each side (center of pedals to center of pedals).</p> <p> It is a non-permanent mod (no cut or damage made to the rudder pedal, simply disassemble it and revert back to the original rudder if you want!) but it <Strong>DOES</strong> require you to buy 4 bigger rails (10mmx400mm linear shaft (exactly 367mm)) and some wire to extend the toe brake cable(6x ≥12mm Female to Male dupont wire(2x red,2x orange,2x yellow)), a second extension spring to help center the pedals and reduce/eliminate any deadzone and something to raise the base of the original pedals (like a plywood ~13mm/ 1/2") .</p> <p>Cost is around 40$; ~8$ per rail + wire + spring</p> <h4><strong>PRINTING INSTRUCTION <em>(Left and Right side are NOT interchangeable)</em> :</strong></h4> <p>It is large so I made this mod in 2 parts, the biggest measuring 80mm(x)x189mm(y)x94mm(z)</p> <p>Print the front and rear section of each side, the 2 slots extender and either print the 4 rail pins together or 2 of each side separately. <h4><strong>ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION </strong><a href="https://imgur.com/a/jyKLRrt">Click me!</a><em>(Left and Right side are NOT interchangeable)</em> :</h4> <p>Some sanding might be required depending on your printer setting and tolerance <p><em><strong></strong>Recommended;</em> Place anti skid pad or screw it on a plywood to prevent the rudder pedals from slidding</p> <p><a href="https://imgur.com/ldmkbeF">Second spring installed video</a> <p><strong>UPDATE 1,</strong> **/06/21 : TBD</p> <p>Check out my other things! <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/gabhunter123/designs">https://www.thingiverse.com/gabhunter123/designs</a></p>
