T-Cell Cleaning Stand
thingiverse
This is a cleaning stand designed specifically for Hayward (or compatible) T-cell salt water pool chlorinators, including Blueworks models. To use it effectively, screw it onto one side of your T-cell so that it stands upright and seals the bottom to prevent leaks. Next, pour in some white vinegar or a muriatic acid/water mixture of your choice, though be cautious not to damage the cell. Wait as the solution dissolves any lime/calcium buildup inside. Tip: Use a nylon zip tie to safely break off chunks of calcium from the "fins" of the chlorinator. Note: Hayward offers a cleaning stand for approximately $23, but this alternative only costs about $1.50 in filament and prints faster than Amazon can ship it to you. I've included the .scad files used to create this stand so you can customize it to your liking. Keep in mind that the threads don't match exactly because Hayward designed the T-cell's threads as proprietary. They're sufficient for a stand, but might not be robust enough for applications under pressure.
