Large build size, compact external footprint. No cross-belt configuration. A low-cost and ultra-quiet brass bearing setup is employed. A GT2 20-tooth pulley and an MK8 drive gear for an extruder, both designed to operate with either an 11mm or 9mm filament diameter. To achieve a build size of 200mm x 200mm x 200mm, the following materials are required: Aluminum extrusion components - Eight (8) pieces measuring 20mm x 40mm x 350mm Steel rods for frame support and stability - Two (2) pieces each, one with a diameter of 8mm and a length of 350mm - Two (2) pieces each, one with a diameter of 8mm and a length of 320mm - Two (2) pieces, one with a diameter of 10mm and a length of 400mm A robust bearing system for optimal performance - Seventeen (17) pieces of the MF105 type, each featuring a bore size of 5mm and an outer diameter of 10mm - Eight (8) brass tubes measuring 10mm in diameter, with lengths of 8mm and an outer diameter of 10mm The design draws inspiration from Bernis's simple 3D printing Bowden extruder found on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:719709.
