T'au Lightbox

thingiverse

Last in this batch of Kill Team themed lightboxes, our T'au player. This one looks awesome with the bright blue COB LEDs in it, and their shorter wavelength does a great job of charging up the glow-in-the-dark side accent. Phones do a poor job capturing the evenness of the lighting, to the eye it really is quite blue and not so washed out. As the geometry of this is literally just a circle and I didn't trust the friction fit alone to hold it together, I embedded a retention peg in the middle of the Sept using an M3 heat insert, as well as a little centering mark on the very top of the lip to help get it aligned. As all the others, it has a keyhole to hang from a common thumbtack or nail. Also - since this one was kinda boring in comparison to the rest - I threw a chamfer on the face. Not that you can really see it, but it at least adds _something_ to it. The "T'au Lightbox.3mf" file is a project file from Bambu Studio 1.7.4 that has all my profiles and settings used, as well as a text modifier to emboss a 5V marking over the DC jack. You may want to change that if you're going to use different voltage lighting. The other two are just exported directly from Fusion if you'd like to do it yourself. A full parts list with links and additional details are referenced in the [Necron](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6181178/) lightbox.
