T-800 modified base with holes and lid for 2 AAA batteries
thingiverse
I upgraded the base of this T-800 model by drilling a hole where you can insert AAA batteries and a battery holder that powers up the LED lights and connects to the On/Off switch. I will soon post a link to a tutorial video here showing how I painted, finished, and installed the LED lights on this model. The materials I used for installing the LED lights are: - LED lights: digikey.com/jmwp8q - Latching On/Off button/switch: ebay.com/JAVd8o - Battery holder for 2X AAA: digikey.com/jmwpq1 - AAA batteries: a.co/a7CUN8e - Soldering iron (40W): a.co/1fFnvom - Any Ethernet cord - Solder (any brand) - Scissors, cutting tool, or any tool for cutting cords - Helping hands for soldering (optional): a.co/iipWgC6 Here's how I achieved the smoothing and painting with metallic effect: youtu.be/MH-VzXZDDY4 LED installation, including the On/Off switch and battery holder setup: youtu.be/z_48mc-3o3k
