Experiencing a series of bumpy touchdowns in my T-28 resulted in a cracked firewall. After multiple attempts at fixing it using epoxy, I discovered the issue persisted at the same spot. Consequently, I removed the damaged sections and designed an insert for reinforcement. So far, my solution has withstood two successful landings, including one where a 12mm stick was run over.
