(Playing example at the bottom) Tired of only getting to play the willow flute in the spring? Well now you can make one that wont dry up on you! It still needs some work (id like the joints to fit better off the bed; it currently requires heat welding and/or superglue) but this model is functional! it takes a soft breath to hit the lower notes. I recommend separating the model into individual pieces and flipping most of the pieces upside down for better prints (female joint down) Also note that the pieces have to go together in a specific order. The joint flares should be different sizes to help you figure out which is which. its base key (first note if playing "taps"). is a G. Feel free to scale up and down for different scales! (scaling at/around 76% doesnt work super well, and max i can get to fit is up to 115%) I hope to make a version that you just print the whistle part and attach to PVC pipe in the future for more efficient flute making, as well as allowing for different keys. Let me know what you think! Playing example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_k8iZj6_QI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7bXIfbnOVM
