The Kozienicki rifle, also known as the Sztucer kozienicki, is a single-shot flintlock rifle produced in 1790 at the King's Weapon Manufacture in Kozienice, Poland. It holds a special place in military history as the first serial-produced rifle of Polish construction designed specifically for use by the Polish Army. Andrzej Kownacki, a renowned firearms designer in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, created this innovative weapon and served as its creator and administrator at the Kozienice factory.
