System Shock 2 PSI Amp

This is a replica or prop of the PSI amp from System Shock 2. It's based on the in-game model and fits easily into one's palm. The hole on its left side is sized for an aux cable, making it simple to attach to your arm using a glue-in aux cable like the game does. System Shock 2 stands out as my absolute favorite game of all time, next to Star Wars Battlefront 2, so naturally I wanted to design a prop that matches. Eventually, I'll create an entire cosplay of Soldier G65434-2 and this PSI amp will be right on me. I've already printed the device with success. Here's a summary of the device from Shodanpedia: "The Black Ops Psionic Amplifier is a System Shock 2 feature that appears to be a dark, metal ball with a small tube or wire lodged into the protagonist's lower wrist. Although it doesn't directly damage opponents, it can use PSI to perform telekinetic-like actions like object levitation. The PSI amp isn't actually a weapon; rather, it's a device that enables the usage of psi-powers. Developed by Esper Industries, a TriOptimum Corporation military R&D division branch, this controversial device allows psionically able individuals to amplify and project their powers into the world. Before the development of the PSI Amp, psionic disciplines were mostly detectable only in lab environments. The amp contains and inhibits normal diffusion problems inherent in psi phenomena. It also enables users to effectively channel their innate psionic disciplines to various powerful effects. This device sparked furor in the psionic community primarily due to its obvious military applications but also because of its tendency to define PSI powers along a few specific axes, generally utilitarian. For printing this, simply scale it to your desired size and use rafts. Given its simplicity, it shouldn't be too much trouble for any printer. I happened to use a MakerBot Replicator 2."
