A versatile tool for crafting custom lures is required. A syringe designed specifically for soft plastics is needed to inject material into molds with precision. The ideal syringe should accommodate a wide range of plastics, including plastisol and similar materials. To create this device, start by selecting a 150mm acrylic tube with specific dimensions: an outer diameter of 40mm and an inner diameter of 36mm. Next, add a rubber O-ring to the assembly for a secure seal. For easier printing, consider creating a cut version that can be assembled using glue or acetone. When calculating the capacity of the syringe, note that every 10mm of tube length holds approximately 1cc of material. When printing with ABS plastic, keep in mind that shrinkage may occur. To prevent this issue, over-dimension the print by a small amount to ensure a snug fit on the acrylic tube.
