Syringe dispenser
prusaprinters
A ratcheting syringe dispenser for ~15mm OD syringes. The ratchet has a tongue that flexes to move on to the next tooth on the plunger. Its function relies on friction applied to the plunger which is usually from the rubber tip of the plunger but the ‘retainer grippers’ can be printed in TPU to provide this if required - they are not needed otherwise. To retract the syringe, there is a release mechanism on the tongue. Print notes:See photos for the print orientation I used for each part. Printed using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12mm layer height. Assembly notes:The M3x6mm screws are used to attach the lever to the plunger retainer, start by tapping the holes (can use the screw for this - this is only going to be assembled once, and not tightly!!).Place the springs in the plunger retainer, compress and then tighten the screws. When attaching the the plunger retainer to the mount, over tightening of the screw may prevent the mechanism from operating. Non printed parts:2x M3x6 cap head screws1x M3x12-16 cap head screw (depending on syringe flange dimensions)1x M3 nut2x 0.45x5x20mm compression springs A rack for these is here: https://www.printables.com/model/380282-syringe-dispenser-rack
