Syringe Adapter

Syringe Adapter

This 5mL syringe turn-and-lock adapter serves as a functional replacement for pricey commercial adapters that can be difficult to obtain in small quantities. This option is both affordable and straightforward. The two components are not overly delicate, making them easy to print even without additional support material. I'm using this adapter as a hydraulic drive for the syringe, but it has numerous potential applications (fluid delivery, pneumatics, etc.). Rescales for other standard syringe sizes will be added soon. Standard syringe sizes can be found in the Harvardapparatus Syringe Selection Guide. Drawback: While suitable for general use, it starts leaking at higher pressures.
