These DIY knobs for my modular synth were expertly crafted to accommodate splined pots exclusively - that's the type I happen to work with. Feel free to modify them if you're planning to use D-shaft pots instead; however, I only have access to splined ones at the moment. The shafts were designed for a snug dry fit, so be sure to remove any remaining filament residue from inside the shaft during assembly.
