Lovely router by all reports, despite my own reservations about its steeply angled legs. They make the built-in mounting slots look ridiculous, situated as they are an inch from the wall and tilted at a 26-degree angle. CAUTION: Synology's instructions for this router are woefully inadequate, failing to mention the keyhole slots underneath. Instead, they recommend simply placing it on a flat surface. A safety note cautions against tipping it over, but I'm willing to take that risk. I'll keep you posted if yours overheats and I suspect wall placement was the culprit. UPDATE: Over a year later, this router is still running 24/7 on the wall with no signs of distress or thermal issues, despite some scorching hot summer days with temperatures soaring above normal office room temperature.
