Synchronized Z Axis for BLV MGN Cube

I strongly dislike auto bed leveling. With a rigid and flat bed that's perfectly set up, it's simply unnecessary - just set it once and forget about it. When you add multiple Z actuators to the mix, however, they can easily get out of sync and mess with your bed positioning. By synchronizing the two Z actuators with a timing belt, this problem is completely avoided. This design still utilizes 2 stepper motors. It's likely that one stepper motor would be enough unless your bed assembly is heavy, but adding the second stepper is cost-effective, so it's worth having for some peace of mind. To upgrade your current machine, you'll need the following components in addition to the printed parts (most of which you probably have left over from the initial build): 8 x F623 ZZ Flange Ball Bearings - number 2 or 3 option, 4 x GT2 Pulley 16 Teeth 5mm bore, 4 x 605ZZ Deep Groove Ball Bearing, 2 x 100mm x 5mm Stainless Steel Ground Shaft, 1 x 1220-2GT-6 Timing Belt in Closed Loop, 4 x 3mm x 30mm screws, 4 x 3mm hex nuts, 24 x 3mm ID x 0.5mm Thick Flat Washers, and 4 x 5mm ID x 1.0mm Thick Flat Washers. I printed these parts with my hypercube and all of the fits were perfect, but you may need to make some adjustments depending on your printer's specifications. Print in the orientation shown or provided. To tension the belt, loosen one of the motor mounts, pull it snug, and re-tighten the mount.
