Synchronized Pendulum I Mechanism
grabcad
This Youtube video (https://youtu.be/e87ABt-pQLU) showcases an intriguing mechanism that can be crafted using a step motor. I have developed two identical models, with the second one set to be featured shortly. Both designs were modeled in Solidworks 2016 and rendered through Simlab Composer 8 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited using Virtualdub before being saved as AVI/X264 and BMP files. The video was then remuxed into an MP4 format with MyMP4BoxGui, while gifs were created in PhotoScape. Editing of renders took place in IrfanView. Both the 3D-PDF and SIMLAB files are animated and can be accessed in a variety of formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 8, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, DWF, and FBX.
