To achieve finer detail, modify the Blender model with SubSurf modifier set at 3 for smoother design. Export the modified STL file and print it using symmetry by printing only half of the head and flipping an axis to create its mirror image. Glue or epoxy the two halves together for a complete model. In Blender, cut spherical objects like heads in a saggital manner; then save time and resources by printing the mirror image with hardware settings that flip either the X or Y axis, eliminating the need for re-skeining. This method also reduces file size when storing/processing both left and right objects.
