To attach the coupler directly to the lead screw and motor, slip a rubber tube over the shaft. This allows for misalignment tolerance without Z position errors. Previous versions had clamping screw conflicts with tubing size, but this updated design locates the clamp screws based on the larger of tubing OD or lead screw diameter. For 6.35mm lead screws, use 1/4" O.D. x 0.170" I.D. vinyl tube from hardware stores. Triffid Hunter recommends 90% infill in PLA for printing, improving bottom layers and making Z zeroing repeatable. The coupler is beneficial for easily bent lead screws.
