The new kit features polyhedron components with symmetric unsigned hinges, including an octagon. Improvements over the previous kit include larger facets and dimensional compatibility with other "Elements." The unique hinge design resolves issues by using only one symmetric hinge per piece. Compatible parts are useful for building more Element-compatible things. If you're familiar with the circular elements, know that this is a duplicate of that thing but with separate renderings available. For assembly instructions, use the hinges as if building out of folded paper, keeping one side consistently oriented. Additional modifications can be made by reducing the number of clips from 6 to 4, as demonstrated in the script's triangular piece definition. Note that hinge clearance may require adjustment based on first layer placement during printing.
