Polyhedron components with symmetrical hinges now feature octagons. These parts are designed to be snap and dimensionally compatible with other items labeled as "Elements." They can also serve as useful starting points for building more Element-compatible things. The previous kit had larger facets and signed snaps, making assembly a puzzle. This script addresses these issues by utilizing only one symmetrical hinge. If you noticed that this is similar to the "circular elements" kit, it's because I posted separate renderings for those who prefer not to use OpenSCAD scripts.
