Duckweed production System.Developed for filtration of highly polluted water.Creates upto 1 kg of Bio mass per Day/sqm.Based on 40" Container wit 5 vertical pond systems.More information:https://symbiofilter.de/?page_id=77Will be deployed for our fish farm in Berlin. The Symbiofilter developed by Aqua Light GmbH in Bramsche and physicist Prof. Dr. Hilmar Franke purifies wastewater and air with the help of microorganisms and various aquatic plants, including duckweed. In Bad Iburg, the focus is on purifying air, explained Helgo Feige, project manager in charge of developing the Symbiofilter at Aqua Light: "Water enriched with microorganisms is sprayed into a cylindrical air scrubber that draws in exhaust gases from the nearby traffic traffic circle," the graduate biologist described. "The pollutants and odors thus washed from the air are then fed into a cascade system of transparent basins where duckweed and microorganisms are cultivated." The initial crops of plants multiply rapidly, "eating" the pollutants out of the water. The resulting lush green flora is then regularly skimmed off the water surface:
