I've managed to design a new Syma X8W/C drone air-frame using replacement parts. After my friend crashed and destroyed the factory drone body, I decided to take on the challenge of repairing it myself. This custom design incorporates 6mm carbon fiber tubes as the arms, while the rest of the frame is printed in 3D. The overall weight of my new frame is expected to be around 180 grams, a significant reduction from the original weight of 600 grams for the quadcopter ready to fly.
