File Update: Enhanced the hex nut tolerance. If you downloaded the file prior, February 23, 2016, kindly redownload This is a test file for Predator04. I re-created Lukibob's exceptionally impressive looking props and added a HUB designed to work seamlessly with the Syma X8 drone. Both A and B props are available in the 209mm size. Although these props have not been thoroughly tested, they were requested for use in a printed propeller safety test, so I included them. If you decide to print and install them on an X8 drone, utilize ABS or superior materials (PETG, Nylon, or Polycarbonate). Also, conduct tests in a secure location where no one or nothing can be struck by plastic debris. These props must be printed with supports. A .2mm layer and high infill rate (90% or higher) are recommended. Chemical treatment of the plastic is not advised. Refrain from sanding them until you have conducted tests to ensure they will not disintegrate. Balancing and smoothing any high spots may provide them with a better chance of staying intact. As a final note, replacing all four props is crucial because these have a different pitch and size than the originals. Print two A props and two B props. Note: The HUB is 1.4mm taller than the original. I designed the root of the propeller to be taller than the original, leaving it unsupported would compromise its structural integrity. This should not cause any issues with mounting them. Good luck with your endeavors!
