Syma X8C Custom Leg Replacement
thingiverse
I was flying my X8C when I landed harder than normal and one of the legs just snapped apart from me in shock. I didn't want to wait a whole week for replacement parts, so I took matters into my own hands and created a custom leg on the spot. It's not an exact replica of the original, but it's close enough. The height is off by about 5-6mm, which isn't ideal, but it gets the job done. If you print all four legs at once, you'll end up with a set that fits the X8 Models (X8C/W/G) perfectly. I left a copy of the SKP file online so others can build upon my design and make improvements. I hope everyone enjoys using these custom legs! REVISION: After reworking the design, I managed to get it to fit on all four legs without any issues, and shortened them by a few inches for better balance. To print these, I recommend setting the infill at 15%.
