Syma X5SW GoPro Mount
thingiverse
Syma X5SW GoPro Mount. I have an Eken H9 4K camera, but this mount works with both the GoPro and the Eken H9. I modified the X8 mount from Adafruit to fit my Syma X5 drone perfectly. When you slice it, be sure to rotate it so the base is facing downwards on the print bed. After printing and attaching it, I found that my drone was not powerful enough to lift the camera in place. According to some videos, the drone can lift up to 110 grams, but the camera specs say it weighs a mere 66 grams. If you figure out how to make your Syma X5SW strong enough to lift this mount and its attached GoPro or Eken H9 camera, I'd love to hear about it in the comments below! Print Settings: Printer: Prusa Mendel i3 Rafts: It doesn't matter what type of raft you use. Supports: You won't need any supports for this print. Resolution: Layer Height: 0.15mm is perfect for this job. Infill: I chose an infill percentage of 20% to save on material costs and still get a strong print.
