The standard camera mount on my Syma X5C factory points straight down when I'm moving the quadcopter forward. So, I printed out Anar's SYMA X5SC horizontal camera mount and gave it a try. It worked perfectly well at slow speeds, but as soon as I picked up speed, the quadcopter tipped forward so far that I was looking at the ground most of the time. To get around this issue, I modified Anar's design to angle the camera even more. Now, my camera stays level with the horizon at full speed, giving me a view that's similar to what you'd see in FPV mode.
