These are the files I created to convert my Syma X5C to use brushless motors. The entire build process is described here. https://j2n.nl/blog/anchor-cms/index.php/posts/x5c-brushless-conversion The conversion boils down to removing everything until only the bare body shell remains. Motor mounts are then glued into the lower shell. The bottom parts of the mounts are glued with some epoxy and screwed to the motor, forming a solid sandwich construction. To mount the flight controller mounting plate, two hoops for the original flight controller mount and battery protector need to be cut away until the ridges of the battery compartment. Then using the mounting plate as a template, drill four holes for mounting the plate, PDB, and FC. Lastly, the old battery door can be glued in place to provide additional structural strength. You might need to cut away some parts to accommodate screw holes. More information is available on the link above. Update: I made an FPV pod for this quad too.
