Syma S107 Helicopter Landing Gear (skid replacement)
thingiverse
Landing gear for the SYMA S107 Helicopter. I chose to eliminate the skids and went with just legs to cut down on weight. You will need to print two of these - one for each leg section. Notice that I've positioned the legs so they lean backwards, opposite to the Syma skids' angle - this keeps the helicopter balanced better on the ground. The same screws that hold in the original landing gear are used. Due to the extremely small size of this print, tolerances are very tight. It works fine with my printer but required some cleaning up of the sockets where the S107 pins fit and a bit of force to get them to fit properly. No supports or rafts are needed. Infill probably won't make much of a difference since these are so small and very little infill is used, but I set it to 20% for mine. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20%
