I crafted the 7mm version of the source, discovering that the Syma D63 is surprisingly smaller than most quadcopters. Taking this into account, I reimagined the design from scratch, accommodating smaller rotors, 7mm motors, and the specific flight controller mount tailored to the Syma board. The ducts snugly fit around the 37.5mm propellers and are curved to a NACA 0020 airfoil shape, which should yield greater efficiency (in theory). To extract the motor wires without damaging the original frame, you'll need a soldering iron to carefully disconnect them. Once removed, they can be easily resoldered. I printed mine in T-Glase Orion Blue, a plastic that can withstand most impacts but may crack under extreme force. I aimed to make the external structures light and thin, allowing for flexibility while maintaining durability.
